***TRIGGER WARNING*** "Tonight was perfect. The decorations were stunning," I exclaimed, taking a whiff of the fragrant peony I picked up on my way from the dining area. Noah's face lit up with joy, and he wrapped me in a tight embrace, pressing me against the wall. There was no one else around, but that wouldn't stop us. He gently brushed his thumb against my cheek as I gazed into his mesmerizing blue eyes. He leaned in, resting his forehead against mine. Out of all the ways he showed his affection, this was my favorite. It made me feel seen and cherished, with a sense of security and trust. His velvety voice filled my ears. "You're the one meant for me." Why did he have to be so perfect? He always knew just what to say to make me weak in the knees. I didn't even know how to respond
