3.25 The following Saturday afternoon, Yvette headed down High Street in Fremantle’s northeast, carrying with her an ambivalent curiosity; she’d never seen Thomas act. She couldn’t imagine him being anyone other than himself, nervous, neurotic, introspective, with an appalling taste in men. Deckchair Theatre was housed in Victoria Hall.
