“This is unfair, Dad..” Said Mavie, crying. “How did she end up marrying Alex McGregor? How did they meet?”
“I’m sure she seduced him; what else?” Daisy added. “We need to do something about this, Lorenzo. I am not going to let you leave with nothing!”
“Do you think I want this? Of course, I am not going to leave the company empty-handed!” Lorenzo shouted.
It was the following day after the event, and they were in their living room. Until they woke up, they still couldn’t believe that Serene had married the wealthiest man in the country. “We need to think about how we are able to get back to Serene or take her out of the company. It won’t be easy since McGregor is beside her”, Lorenzo said. The mother and daughter nodded in agreement.
