Leonardo pushed the bedroom door very slowly, trying to minimize the sound in the midst of the quiet midnight. As soon as he stepped inside, his view was directly pointed toward the bed in the middle of the room. There, Veronica was already fast asleep in a sideways position facing toward the window.
