Tiara's POV Morning came finally and at the first crack of dawn, I was up. I didn’t have time to hesitate. If I wanted my father to hear me out, I needed to act now. Morning was the best chance I had before the day’s duties took over, before the pack became too busy to notice me. I brushed off the bits of straw clinging to my dress and straightened my back, trying to look composed even though my mind was racing. If I looked lost or hesitant, someone would stop me before I even reached the entrance. As I approached the pack house, my heart pounded so loudly I feared the guards might hear it.
