Tiara’s POV I turned away and started walking, eager to escape his presence, when his voice rang out behind me. “We are not done yet.” I didn’t look back. I didn’t want to know what he meant. My skin still tingled with the memory of his hand, like his touch had burned its way into me. I hated that he could still get under my skin like this. I hated that I even had to face him today. Lost in thought, I didn’t realize someone was in front of me until I collided into a firm chest. I staggered back slightly, startled, but a hand reached out and steadied me. “Hey, are you alright?” I looked up. Alpha Nicholas. He was watching me with a look of concern etched across his face. The crease between his brows deepened as he studied me. “What’s wrong?” he asked quietly. “You look... upset.”
