The staffs and board members waited patiently in the conference room for Tirzah. They yearned to hear the news; they knew something good would come out of the trip.
The door swung open and Ruth said, “She’s here…”
She announced, holding Tirzah’s belongings. They all stood with smiles.
“Good morning, ma’am,” they greeted repeatedly.
“Good morning. Please seat,” she replied, wearing on her mesmerizing smile. She took her place at the head of the table,studied their expression and smiled again, knowing what was on their minds.
“The event—” she dramatically paused leaving them in suspense.
“Ma, what happened?” one of the staffs asked .
“Well, it went as planned, I was heard , I was acknowledged!”
They clapped happily. They understood that in meetings with tech masters, it was impossible for a newbie in tech to be invited, yet alone speak. That was why they were all worried and impatient, now they could all relax... Tirzah noticed how their was a shift in their mood, they all looked relaxed and grateful.
“I wasn't able to present our project to the board, I believe another opportunity would come,” she said confidently.
They nodded in agreement.Then her expression changed , she seemed a bit concerned about something , Ivone noticed and asked “ ma'am you look worried , is there any issue?”
“ There's none actually it just that ... I’m yet to understand how I even got invited for a meeting , a tech meeting.. only few people know about my interest in technology .” Tirzah replied still thinking
“It could be that some mysterious admirer is pulling the strings,” Ruth teased
“An admirer? Oh please, Ruth…” she smiled at Ruth's joke.
They discussed a little more about the meeting and her experience, then they began talking about the upcoming fashion week .. Tirzah learnt about their progress and commented on their good work. She also gave them some of the designs she drafted out during the trip.
in her office
Tirzah sat behind her desk filling in records , editing drafts adding, final touches ... When her office door swung open “ Ma'am ” Ruth barged in holding up her tab , beaming from ear to ear. “ what is it Ruth ” Tirzah looked up from her laptop and glared at Ruth .. “ I didn't mean to barge in like that ” Ruth explained.. “ it's ok go on ”.
“ you received an invitation for an annual tech conference at Jarius Joel corporation . ” Ruth said excitedly .. “ what?!!! ” Tirzah almost jumped up from her seat .. she didn't know how to express herself... “ let me see that " she finally said .. Ruth hurriedly stepped forward and handed tirzah the tab.. Tirzah looked in awe , she couldn't utter a single word , as she kept reading the details .. her eyes caught the date .
“ what happened ma'am ” Ruth noticed then asked .. “ the meeting is next week.. it's not a problem , in fact we have everything needed for this meeting but it's too sudden ”
“ ma'am the date isn't a problem , like you said , we have everything needed. I'd just go and modify the prototype . ”
“ thank you so much Ruth . ” she smiled then fell back on her seat .

just then her phone rang .. she picked it up and it was Adah praise Everhart , her childhood bestie ..She quickly answered the call .
“ Hey boo!! " Adah screamed with excitement beaming with joy
“ Hey darling ” she returned smiling “how are you my love " she added .
"never been better, you ? ” , Tirzah smiled at her reply .. that was always Adah's reply .
“ I am very fine ” Tirzah replied “ Guess what babes ” Adah beamed “ i can't really guess now Adah .. ” “ oh my ! Tir think harder ” . “ you are got engaged?”
“ I wish it was but it's something else .. well you've tried I'd help you .” “ You remember Roy group right? ”
“ Yes , the group that deals with ceramic arts , the company you've been working all night to gain partnership with” .
“ Yes , yes .. I have finally gained the partnership!! , I'm so grateful to God ”
“ Thank God, I'm so happy for you dear ”
“ You remember how I gave up on it but you kept telling me to pray , pray harder ... God just did it for me , I don't even know what to say or how to control myself right now ”.
Tirzah smiled “ I have a good news too hun ”
“ what's that love ?”
“ I was invited a week ago to Paris , for a meeting.. It was for the upcoming fashion week, it was for a TECH meeting, meeting with the masters of technology.. ”
“ WOW!! ,this calls for celebration Tirzah , let me info...
“ That not all , I have been invited to JJC for another meeting next week ”
“ wait wait baby girl , you mean Jairus Joel corporation? ”
“ yhhh”
Adah's mouth dropped open , her eyes opened wide , “ OMG!!!Babe .... This is huge .. I'm not gonna say anymore ... Just come to our usual spot am gonna invite the ladies over too ” Adah blew a kiss before Tirzah could say a word of disapproval.. This made Tirzah smile.
She quickly wrapped up her work then left for home , she was gonna prepare , she knew Adah wasn't joking .She does whatever she says .
