“Why you haven’t had someone put at least rudimentary wards your home long before now.” Lex shook his head in disbelief, glaring at Bay.
“In my defense, I have a very good security system,” Bay replied.
“Which will not defend against magical attacks,” Lex said acerbically. Taking a deep breath, he began his lesson, telling them to ground themselves and select the element they felt most connected to. “The ward you create will be linked to that element. In your case, Bay, if I’m not mistaken, it would be earth.”
