Alex's POV
Same start of the day....Justin.
I don't know why he decides to pick on me. And also I don't know why I am a target to be bothered by. This guy named Onyx bothers me. Well he's not violent or mean like Justin. I knew highschool would be scary. Especially since I moved. Means I don't know anybody really.
"Hi Alex."a voice said and I turned and was smashed against the lockers.
"Justin please leave me alone." I said and he grinned.
"You remind me of an old somebody way to well."he said.
"So, why me?!" I yelled.
"Hey don't yell at me."he said.
"Justin what the hell are you doing?"a voice said.
It was Onyx....
"Onyx." I said.
"Onyx get going this is non of your business." Justin hissed.
"Actually it is because my locker is here."he said and pulled me away from Justin and Justin left. "You okay?"he asked.
"Uh yeah." I said looking down. He smiled and slapped my back. "Ow! What was that for?" I asked glaring him while rubbing my back.
"Don't let him pick on you." Onyx said with a serious face and my eyes widen.
"Why do you care?"automatically came out of my mouth.
His eyes slanted. "If you let people pick on you they'll pick on you more and it might hurt you."he said. "And because."he said.
"Because wha-" I started to say but he kissed my cheek. "What was that for?" I said as my face started to heat up and I rubbed my cheek.
"A good luck charm."he said winking. "But you rubbed it off."he said glaring at me.
My face grew more hotter. "I thought we we're friends." I said looking away.
"That's why I kissed you on your cheek."he said grinning.
I slanted my eyes at him. "I'm pretty sure friends don't kiss." I said.
"We didn't kiss. I kissed you."he said.
My face kept on get darker and darker. How can he say these things like it's nothing?
"Onyx if you want to be my friend your going to have to knock it off." I said blushing.
"Do you not like it?"he asked as I was walking to class.
"Uh what?!" I said flustered.
"Of you don't like it I'll stop."he said smirking.
"I don't." I said looking down.
"Ahhh I was having fun. Fine I'll be good....for now."he said.
"For now?!" I said and he laughed. I pouted and he only laughed more.
Onyx's POV
Today in art was the last day we would be doing the relax thing. Then she would put us in groups at tables. I was the one who was gonna be walking around this time. I could talk to them, try to make them laugh and I knew this was going to be fun. Alex was the last person. Now I wasn't really doing anything for the other people. I smirked I could tell the fear and worry that flashed in his eyes.
"Alex you know I just love your light hazel eyes." I said and his face flushed but he kept staring at the picture. "Alexander." I said in a husky voice and he looked at me with his face red.
"Alexander,diamond." Ms. Casthello said.
"Bu-But-" Alex said.
"We're starting over."she said taking his diamond.
"That was dirty."he said gritting his teeth.
"I can do something way dirtier or say something dirtier." I whispered and his face redden.
"On-Onyx."he said.
"I was just kidding." I said chuckling.
At the end of school
I was going to try to hang out with Alex at the end of the day. You know walk home with him. I took a deep breath.
"Alex!" I said running to him to his locker.
"Yeah."he said putting his books up.
"You wanna walk together?" I asked.
"Uhhh I have to go home."he said closing his locker and I rolled my eyes.
"We could walk together." I said.
"I can't."he said.
"Why is that?" I asked following him.
"Onyx I can't."he said looking down and a tear dropped down his face.
"Alex what's wrong?" I asked and he rubbed his eyes.
"Hey what are you to doing?"a voice said.
I turned around and it was Justin. "What do you want?" I asked glaring at him.
"Oh nothing really."he said giving Alex a glance.
"Alex is he bothering you?" I asked.
"I have to go."he said and I grabbed his arm before he could go.
"Alex." I said and he looked down and took his arm away.
"I'm sorry."he said and left.
"What did you do?!" I yelled at Justin.
"I just told him we use to date. No biggie."he said grinning.
"f**k you." I said pushing him and running to find Alex.
