Episode-9 The Deadly Thrill

The wall was slowly crushing and grinding our body, parts by parts.

We were agonizing. We were struggling to breathe. We were suffocating. And then, with a dazzling whirl light, suddenly it seemed as if we were having a very scary dream and got up in a hurry.

We were still standing safe and sound, near the boiling blood lake. And the spiked wall was still a bit far from us. It was very slowly coming near towards us.

What was that? We were nearly dead a minute ago. Do we revived? Rajesh said being amazed. We all been inert for a while in amazement.

Look over there. Prince pointed his finger to the spiked wall.

Aww, ufff, aha... An stopwatch timer... Rajesh said and jumped in pain when a few droplets of hot boiling blood sprinkled on his arms.

Hahaha... We could not stop laughing... When he jumped like a monkey, but not more than a few seconds we also jumped the same way as our skin burned by the hot boiling blood sprinkles. ...And we all tried to hide our pain by burst out laughing at each others monkey jump.

It was a blinking stopwatch timer on the wall, made up of flashing bricks. The stopwatch timer blinked an hour and twenty one minutes left for us to complete our task.

Wow, there is still a lot of time left to finish our work. Rohit show excitedly his joy.

Don't be so happy bro, you know what had happened a minute ago. There could be more possibilities of something like that again. Maybe it would turn into reality after a moment again. Prince warned in a sharp tone.

We all shivered in fear, imagining if we would really have to face it later.

I don't understand, what was that actually happened to us earlier? Rajesh repeated his question again.

Was it a dream? Possibly it was a dream. But how is that possible? I said and put my hands into my pants pockets and kicked the little stone below my legs, while thinking.

Are you crazy Maddy? Did you forgot... We are already dreaming it all... How could we watch a dream inside a dreamworld. We were not even sleeping. Rohit doubted.

What did you just said? Prince asked with a witty expression to Rohit and insisted him to repeat his words.

Didn't you hear me? I'm not gonna repeat it. Rohit asked with an annoyed expression.

Ok let it be. He called me crazy... It's ok. I don't mind. I said.

No no, not that. After that... What was the sentence he said? Prince exclaimed.

Well he said that we are already dreaming... How could we watch a dream inside a dreamworld?... I replied to Prince. ...And asked him, but what's your point of asking that?

Prince replied... Do you remember what Chameli said us earlier when she was explaining us the mysteries of the Dreamworld?

Yes I remember, she said that this is the dreamworld where we will experience our emotions and all those mind waves in our subconscious mind, which will entrap our minds into jugglery of dreamworld and will see dreams inside dreams. Rajesh said in a chirping manner.

Yeah that's the point, " Here we will see dreams inside a dream"... That's what I wanted to remind you. We were really watching dreams inside a dream... Maybe that was a warning for us... Prince tried to explain.

But before he could have finished his words Rohit interrupted...

Wow my boy has all grown up. You kept remember all this? Rohit taunted Rajesh.

I'm not talking to you. Replied Rajesh being upset. Awww my baby is upset... Rohit again teased Rajesh.

Heyy you two husband-wife... Don't start your domestic violence again. This is not a place for your picnic or a honeymoon spot... Be serious, its a game of life and death. Instead of arguing with each other can you guys please focus on surrounding areas and find a way to cross this boiling blood lake and reach out the puzzle door. I scolded them both and Prince also rolled his fiery eyes over them. They both quieted their argument.

Ouch that hurts... One, that bloody hell, boiling blood burning my beautiful skin... And you two doing extra trouble for us. I said irritatingly.

Hahahah... Hahaha... Hahahahaha..... Prince continuously laughed.

Why you laughing now? I asked annoyingly to Prince.

Hahaha... Hahahhaha... Wow! Maddy you and your invective... Hahahahaha... Rohit and Rajesh... Doing husband-wife's domestic violence in dream, what a great news... Hahahha... Dreamworld, a honeymoon spot for Rohit and Rajesh... Hahaha... Hehehe... Hahaha... I can't stop laughing... Prince said laughingly.

Anyway you did a damn good job buddy... You quieted them both. Prince patted me on my back and showed his admiration for me.

Ok ok... They always fight like a married couple, what would I do... but you please stop laughing now otherwise look at their face... They gonna beat us anytime... I warned Prince controlling my laugh with cover.

Rajesh and Rohit looked at each other with hateful eyes and gave a false smile with teasing face.

Stopwatch timer blinking an hour and fourteen minutes left.

Shit man! I don't feel like anything adventurous here... I need something thrilling... Thrilling that make the soul trembled. Said Rohit irritatingly.

Hmm yeah, you are right. It's quite boring here. There's nothing adventurous to do. Feels like we are in a scary torture movie set. I said in support of Rohit by emphasizing his point.

Are you both nuts? A few minutes ago we revived and you don't find it thrilling?

Nope! ...Rohit and I said at once.

Woh woh woh... What's that...? Boys we need to find a way... Run... Prince pointed to the pathway we were standing in...

There was a narrow path with both side deep trenches of floating fire river in it...between spiked wall to the boiling blood lake... Where we were standing in. And great thorns began to grow in that path from the spiked wall towards the lake.

Wait which direction will run? There's hell of death in our every way. Oh my god... I wanted thrill.. Not death... I'm not even married now... Rohit panicked...

Hell yes! and we are all four times married?... Prince yelled.

Its all because of you two... You two wanted to make it more thrilling. Rajesh shouted in frustration.

But how is that possible, how the dream change according to our wish? Rohit said in amazement.

Ohh my god, we don't have time to think of that now... its growing so fast... Do something. We don't have time... Rajesh panicked.

Hey guys I have got a plan... are you good in long jump? I asked with a plan in my mind.

What? What the rubbish you are thinking about? Do you think we can jump over and cross the lake? Prince annoyed.

It's not grown so far from the wall... The thorns in the pathway... Run to the spiked wall, jump up, catch a thorn and hang on.

No... no no no... You are planning to kill us... What if the spiked thorns enter into our bodies. Rajesh asked.

Do you have any other plan better than this..? Just keep in your mind... Don't leave your hands off the spiked thorns, in any situation. Let's run now. I said.
