Venz's POV "P-please... King. Let g-go of me. S-Spare me, please!" Petrino begged. With his half-naked body, he is kneeling on the podium while being whipped at the back by two guards. "AHH! PLEASE—AHH!" From the hours of whipping, I must say he is strong for an old man. His breathing should have stopped right now. "Have you ever thought of sparing the lives of the humans you brainwashed to attack the palace?" I coldly asked. He's struggling on his knees, but I pity him no more. The life of those innocent beings getting killed after their leader lead them to their death. This is why I promised myself I'm going to renounce war. In wars, there are no winners and losers. Both parties lose. We successfully wiped them out, but it doesn't mean we win. The lost lives of our guards, soldiers
