We sit still as we wait for the rogues to show up. The meeting room is filled with silence. I closed my eyes so I can focus to heighten my hearing senses.
I felt a pang of pain in my ears when a loud explosion was heard from the front gates. It was followed by the footsteps of a horde of people. I bet even without a vampire ability, the explosion will be heard.
I opened my eyes and turn to my family who are maintaining their straight faces. "They're coming," I announced.
