Amelia was instantly startled, she turned to Eva in panic.

“Do I call the healer, are you alright? the healer is a rogue who escaped from bleeding pack, he could treat your injuries.”

Eva shook her head. “What monster were you talking about earlier?"

Amelia sighed, its needless to say, her heart already hurt as it is but she wanted to find out everything that happened to her parents and Alpha Ethan is linked to her parents disappearance.

She wouldn’t have anything happen to him, not until she find out the truth, with a resolute look in his eyes, she turned to face Eva. “You are the only one who could save him now…his monster has completely taken over him and it’s only you that can bring him back.”

“Bring him back, what are you talking about? you sound strange.”

Amelia suddenly stood up and held her arms tightly.

“Listen Eva, you need to redeem him, if he’s let loose, he would go berserk and destroy the whole town, his monster has finally taken control over of his senses, it needs a balance, and you Eva…is a perfect choice, you are his mate…you need to save him, he needs you..”

Eva eyes watered, she was in severe shock but she didn’t have time to figure anything out before Amelia pushed her out of the room.

“Look for a way to get past the guards and go into his hidden chambers, he is locked in there with silver chains...you need to do this.”

Eva nodded absentmindedly, yes, she had to do this, she had to kill Alpha Ethan, for her brother, for her father, for her mother and her unborn Little sisters who were killed brutally by the Alpha, for the rogues and for the peace of the entire werewolf pack, she had to do this. With a resolute and confidence that came from her logic, Eva marched to Alpha Ethan Palace, beside the pack house.

Matt knelt on the floor bleeding all over, his previous injuries were open and his flesh were almost falling off, Alpha Karen has gone berserk but he was still in little control of his actions; he in front of the door as Alpha Karen dealt with him a heavy blow, he wasn’t going to let him get out, the Pack doesn’t need to find this out.

“My Lord…MY lord, if you can hear me, ahhhhhh.” Alpha Karen claws suddenly deeper into his arms, and his scream actually stopped Karen for a moment, his eye color shifting from red to grey, Matt sighed in relief and fell flat on the floor.

Alpha Karen looked at the blood trails in the room and felt agitated, he tapped on a bell next to his bed but no one answered, after tapping it a few times with same outcome, he angrily walked to the door, he pushed it opened and met a quite annoying sight, the healer and maids were knelt on the floor with their heads touching the grounds and they were trembling violently, Alpha Karen let out a angry howl that resounded through the entire floor.

“Who’s the healer? No, where’s the attending maid...”

“Am here, my lord.” A tall lean man with slim face and messy hair walked up to him, he bowed to him and smiled, Alpha Karen hissed and let the door opened for him; immediately the door was closed, the few maids and healer breathed a sigh of relief as they all scurried away.

Alpha Karen helped Matt up to his feet but his injuries weren’t light, if not for the fact that he had recovered himself on time, he doubt he would still be alive by now, he looked up at his best friends whom had been with him since childhood, one seriously injured and the other treating him, he suddenly felt a sense of dread, she was his, he knew it the night he captured her, these innocent yet pitiful eyes staring at him that night had unleashed something in him, he never had a mate like his brothers but he knew it her when he met her, she was his, his wolf longed for her, but it’s strange, her brother also felt the mate bond mate with her, that will be the only reason he have to act so brazenly, does this mean the moon goddess is messing with them.

“My lord, what fills your mind?” Alex, his best friend and also a royal healer asked, his eyes held emotions that Karen fully understood, it was the same they give him when they are scared of him, and his monster had almost taken control of him, the curse… Alpha Karen stood up abruptly.

“We shall head to the main palace now.”

“Yes my lord." Matt managed to squeeze out these words but Alpha Karen frowned, he was in no good shape to head to the main palace like this, he turned to Alex who shook his head.

“I will go with Alex, stay here and rest till your injuries are fully healed...”

“I will be fine my Lord, it’s my duty to accompany you, please don’t derive me of even this basic duty.”

Matt persisted, Karen had no other reason to turn him down so he just nodded.

Alpha Aiden smirked as he watch his eldest brother walk up to him, he had received the news of what had transpired between his two brothers and he felt intrigued and can’t wait to find out what made the usually aloof Karen to want to claim back a rogue he captured, his heart was full of pride, and the smug look on his face didn’t go unnoticed by Matt, he clutched his fist tightly as he watched his lord bow to his younger brother, this shouldn’t be, it should be the other way round.

“What brings my able bodied brother to my abode, could it be that a war had befallen us…what serious issues would you like to discuss?”

Alpha Karen ignored his overbearing attitude and walked up to him in his golden chair he sat on, his brother has a very large amount of pride.

“This is no time to be smug Aiden, this matter is serious.”

“How dare you…what insolence, how dare you address my lord with his first name.”

The burly Beta of Alpha Aiden reprimanded while staring straight into the eyes of Karen, a sign of utter disrespect.

“How dare you speak to my lord that way, you treacherous beast.”

Matt voice was even more loud and domineering, Karen raised his hands to signal Matt to keep shut, and he walked with large strands to where the Beta was standing.

“Kneel.” His voice was calm and highly provocative, the Beta felt his legs gave way as he fell on his knees, that’s the power of the Alpha’s voice, Karen brought out a small sharp knife he used for hunting and slashed it across his face, blood gushed out and the Beta couldn’t even raise his hands to cover his face, he winced in pains and barely managed to turn to Alpha Aiden who just looked the other way.

“Know this and let it sink deep…even though I choose to engage my brother, you of lowly birth have to right to speak to me…the next time I hear your power hungry voice of yours. that day is the day you know the true meaning of ruthlessness…now scram!”

Alpha Karen ordered and without a second thought, The beta immediately made a run for it, Mark smirked, he loves seeing his Lord this way, not always giving in to his brothers squirms.

Eva walked into the palace, she looked around her but couldn’t find any signs of a dungeon, on Alpha Karen’s palace, the dungeon was attached outside the building, she couldn’t find her way through the many doors here and surprisingly, there were no guards on duty today, she walked to the elevator and pressed the bottom to the highest floor, maybe she could start searching from there, but immediately the elevator door opens, she met a sight that made her instantly regret her decision.

“What are you doing here?” Eva eyes almost bulged from their sockets, Isabella was in the arms of someone she recognized as of one Alpha Ethan closest body guards, she seems intoxicated and their position was ambitious, Eva covered her mouth in disgust, she is rumored to be the only woman favored by the Alpha and yet she still plays around with men, if Alpha Ethan were to find out, she wasn’t sure she would keep her head.

“What are you doing here? what gave you the right to use the elevator you lowlife, scoundrel! I will kill you."

Isabella seems like have lost herself as she barks and bites, Eva quickly moved away to the other side, this lady is indeed crazy, her fangs had elongated from her lips and deep scary growls came out from her lips, the guard quickly pushed her into the elevator and they both disappeared, Eva still couldn’t shake off the image for whatever reason, her supposed mate who attempted to kill her instead of simply rejecting her was in cahoots with a wild lady, she didn’t deserve to the Alpha mate because she was a rogue but he dares mess with a wild lady, she felt immerse hatred surge within her, with this newly found energy, she was able to make her way to the dungeon.

“Who’s there?” Eva immediacy hid behind a big statue of a wolf as the guard walked past her, searching for the intruder, she took slow strands into the dungeon, but she suddenly paused at the entrance with greased brows.
