The ride home was quiet. I could tell Hayes was irritated that I didn’t tell him about Brie joining us. I on the other hand was equally irritated that he never told me about Brent joining us. I sat with my arms crossed like a 5 year old pouting. We were an hour into our trip and no one had said a word.
