"I didn't quite hear you. Can you repeat what you said?" Carrick asked, slowly getting to his feet now.
Ruby sniffled and cleared her throat. "I think another woman is worth this love. Pray to the goddess, and she will give you someone way better than I am. She will be worth this love and won’t cause you pain for hesitating to accept your obsessive love."
Carrick scoffed and sighed, but he didn't say anything. He believed he had said all he could say to her, but leaving her alone to make her decision wasn’t an easy thing for him.
