Ruby's POV
Ruby's sleep was interrupted by the deep knocks on the door as her eyes fluttered open. The memories of last night came back to her head, and she paused for a second, trying to be sure if the knocks were in her dreams or real life. She heard the knocks again and quickly got up.
"Oh dang," she said to herself. Her room was very scattered, and she hadn't arranged it since she came in last night. She had flung her heels and dress across the room, and it would take close to an hour to arrange them.
She grabbed one of Carrick's jackets and trousers and put them on as she walked towards the door. She peeked through the peephole and asked, "Who is it, please?"
