Ruby's POV
It was the middle of the night. Carrick and Ruby had taken a detour into the woods. They wanted to have a mini adventure there before returning to their pack.
But this wasn’t the same forest Ruby had entered when she tried to commit suicide. These were the other woods along the path to Carrick’s pack. They were filled with dangerous animals, and stories had emerged that vampires once lurked in the depths of the forest.
