"What news?" Carrick asked with a glare.
Laura rolled her eyes and replied, "Nothing. I was just teasing you. But there's something I need to talk to you about."
Carrick’s mind felt troubled. He wouldn’t take it lightly if Laura had overheard his conversation with his Beta. She was getting close to Ruby now, and there was a high chance she'd tell her.
