Carrick's POV Carrick sat on the three-seater couch as thoughts flooded his mind. He didn’t feel good in any way after leaving her alone despite her pleas. She had revealed her most vulnerable moments to him and opened herself up, even after being rejected by the one she truly loved first. He had shown her what love meant...redefined it for her...but in a way that ended brutally. He had wanted to speak with his men before making that decision, but anger had taken over.
