“HOW FAST CAN YOUR BROTHERS get here?” Emma asked Clovis. His gaze found the horizon, his jaw tightening. “We can’t wait for them.” He grabbed the bags in the back of the Dodge Charger and started walking. Clovis had gone through them and found some bottles of water and granola bars, along with rope and a couple of lightweight blankets. He figured they might come in handy.
