CLOVIS POINTED THE rifle toward the hovering chopper, his finger tightening against the trigger. Arrayed around him, the woods cloaking their approach, his brothers were spreading out to surround the grassy backyard where the chopper obviously intended to land. He itched to blast it out of the air. The only thing keeping him from doing it was the awareness that it would give Randolph dangerous seconds of warning. He lowered the gun and moved toward the cabin, intending to take down the guard closest to him. Alf would be dealing with the guy at the front of the cabin.
