ELAYNE We stopped halfway and true to her words, Amaya left. Before she did though, she argued with Geraldine. It was rude to eavesdrop so I didn’t but I can only imagine she was asking her wife not to go. It was a funny thought.  “We’ll rest in that inn. We’ll be in Zerramond soon” Miriam nodded, morose. I had never seen her so sad before. I didn’t know what to do. I could only watch as they settled in their rooms. Tyler handled the carriage so I had nothing to do but rest.  I decided to send a letter to Kalvin. I hadn’t sent one since I was so busy but knowing him, he would freak out if he didn’t hear from me for that long. Speaking of which, I definitely sent a letter when I arrived in Casella before I learnt of the death of my family. I wonder if he ever got it.  Picking up my pen
