“You need to keep your knees further apart. Your stance wouldn’t be stable like that. Dear Zerus... your body is very inflexible for someone who used to be a dancer.”

As he promised, Kalvin dedicated his trusted commander to my training and he did train me to the best of his abilities. The only problem was that he was a man and our training required a lot of touching and I was unwilling to let him touch me. It created quite a dilemma.

“I’ve been trying to adjust that stiff stance for quite a while but you’re constantly clenching up when I get to you. Am I that scary?”

He was a tall man with a scar across his left eye. He also had a huge build that would be considered scary to others. However, his build wasn’t the problem. To me, every man was the same.

Filthy degenerate creatures who take advantage of the weak.

“Lion, that’s enough.”

“Your highness…”

“I’ll take it from here.”

Lion bowed and left the yard. I lowered the stick in my hand and wiped my brow. Learning how to wield a sword was hard but realizing that I was going to be in proximity with a man that would touch my lady parts without meaning to… gave me too much anxiety to function.

Kalvin extended a hand, reaching for my face. I flinched on instinct, taking a step backwards. He gave a gentle smile and reached for my hair.

“It’s finally going back to it’s normal color. I’m glad.”

I casually brushed his hand off, walking to lean on a wall.

“Aren’t I supposed to be in hiding? Why do you want to bring back my old look?”

“You’ve spent far too much time being someone else. I am bringing back the Ariana I know.”

“I already told you she’s dead.”

“Then I’ll bring her back to life.”

“Isn’t necromancy forbidden in the religion of light?”

He chuckled, pulling my cheeks.

“Aren’t you being cheeky, my dearest?”

“Stop touching me ever so often!”

“Why? I am just courting you.”

“You’re being shameless!”

“Then why are you blushing, my dearest?”

“W-What do you mean?! I-I am not blushing!”

“Your cheeks are so rosy, they resemble sweet buns. It makes me want to bite into them. They’re so lovely.”

“Kalvin!”

He did take a bite, nibbling lightly at my cheeks. My face felt hot as I tried to shove him backwards. He didn’t budge, trapping me against the wall with his arms. He stopped biting my cheeks and hovered his lips above mine. I blushed deeper, feeling his hot breath.

“I want to kiss you so bad…”

I swallowed, looking away.

“Ariana, I yearn for you.”

In such a position, with our bodies being so close to each other, other parts of my body heated too. He pressed his legs against mine and I could feel his slow rise of the thing between his legs.

“All you have to do is give your approval and I can kiss you,” he whispered, biting my ear. I whimpered, shrinking into the wall.

“P-Please stop…”

“That’s not the answer I’m looking for”

He continued licking my ears, trailing kissing down my chin and neck. I was helpless in my struggle against him, struggling to stop him from taking advantage of the fact that I was weak behind my ears.

“K-Kalvin... ah... not there...”

“If you want me to stop, beg me…”

“P-Please… ah... st-stop. ”

“You sound so mesmerizing my dearest…”

“We... we’re outside!”

“That’s still not the answer I’m looking for…”

He bit down on my neck forcefully. My nerves tingled and I let out a loud moan. I covered my mouth, pushing against him more. He leaned in closer, rubbing against me.

He kissed, licked, sucked and kissed my neck, all over again. I was lost in the pleasure of my senses, holding on to his shirt tightly as I moaned. I begged him to stop… and begged him to continue.

“Don’t you want me to stop anymore?”

“N-No…”

“Ah, but we’re outside…”

I grabbed his head and forced it lower, pressing a kiss to it. He grinned, raising my chin. He kissed me, inserting his tongue into my mouth right away. He ravished my mouth, turning me into a puddle in his hands. Just like last time, I wasn’t in control as his tongues reached pleasurable places in my mouth I never knew existed.

I forgot my name, all sense of reasoning and logic. All I knew was that I wanted this man in me, tearing down my walls and pounding me to oblivion. My body seemed excited by this fact and grinding on him.

He chuckled into my mouth and pulled away. There was a trail of saliva on his chin that he didn’t notice was there. I reached for his face and licked it off it. I stared at him, expecting more.

“Ah, the things you do to me… unfortunately, we can’t continue.”

Why?!

I felt betrayed and my frustrations were at their peak. I pulled his hair once more but realized I couldn’t lower it any more.

“We have to stop because Lion is here to deliver a report. Isn’t that right?”

From the shadows of the pillar, the tall man emerged once again. All the frustration I built quickly melted away into embarrassment as I saw him. I buried my head into Kalvin’s arms, making myself small enough that I wouldn't be seen. Of course I knew it was of no use!

“Ahem! A report has arrived from Turia, your highness.”

“Is that so? We’ll be there in a minute.”

“Yes, your highness.”

There were no sounds again for a while but I dared not raise my head.

“Don’t worry, he’s gone now.”

I raised my head and peeked around. Sure enough, he wasn’t there anymore. I sighed in relief and glared at Kalvin.

“I’m sorry my dearest. It’s not time for this yet. You were such a sport though. Thank you,” he said, kissing my cheeks.

“We have received reports from the first battle. I’ll go on ahead so you can take care of how you look. Don’t be long.”

He left me there and I deflated on the pillar. It had been so long since I had the gentle touch of someone else, stimulating desires in me. My body rejected him at first but it seemed like it wasn’t anymore. If I went on like that, I wouldn’t be able to reject him anymore.

Worse, I could fall in love with him.

No, I couldn’t afford that. Certainly not in times like these. I gathered my wits and arranged myself to go. Somehow, I felt like there was something I was forgetting. It was almost like I was tricked into something.
