Ch 16

Shawn's P.O.V.

As I hurried to install the security system, I would sneak glances at Cara as she watched T.V. or if she was on her laptop. It was taking me a little longer than I would have liked to get this job done but I still enjoyed just being in her company. As I was trying to hook up the outside camera out of her front door, a black Audi suv pulled up into our driveway. I looked at the man suspiciously, and got down from the ladder as he got out of the car and had an envelope in his hands. I was immediately on guard as he spoke up, " Is this the residence of Cara Lorraine?" he asked as I eyed him up and down, " Who's asking?" I replied waiting to see what he did next. " My name is Louis and I was sent here from the Audi Dealership in Dallas, if this is the correct address, this car is for her" he stated matter of factly. " From whom?" I asked waringly. " An Adrian Bourbon, with a note enclosed for his fiancee" he replied as I just frowned in response. " Yes, this is her residence, I will take the keys to her" I said as the man just nodded and another car drove up and picked him up as I took the envelope and the keys and went upstairs to Cara's apartment.

I walked in and locked the door and looked around for Cara. She wasn't anywhere where she had been recently, so I decided to go upstairs. I could hear some rustling in her room, so I gently pushed the door open to see what she was doing. I watched her as she was prancing around in her bra and panties looking for something to wear in her closet, I immediately felt myself get hard at seeing the sight of her. I kept watching until suddenly, she turned around and saw me. I froze in my spot and wasn't sure as what to do now. I was about to walk away when she motioned for me to enter. Keeping my hands to myself was going to be a chore.

Cara's P.O.V.

As I was trying to find something cute to wear for our lunch date, I felt as though I had eyes staring at the back of me. I turned around quickly and saw Shawn standing there as though he was a deer staring at headlights.I glanced briefly down at his pants, and could see the bulge that was straining from within. I figured if he wanted to come in here he would have, but I was wrong. So I decided to play with him and I motioned for him to come in. As he walked in shyly, which was so unlike him I noticed the envelope in his hand. " What is that?" I asked as he walked up to me and just stared fiercely into my eyes. I could see the lust and want and believe me I wanted it too. " Oh, well you have a surprise outside when your ready to see it" he said as he handed me the envelope and turned to leave. " Wait, who is the surprise from?" I asked curiously. " Your Fiancee" he said with a hard glare. " Shawn, whatever it is, I'm not worried about it" as I grabbed his hand and pulled him back closer to me. I put both my hands on his face and stood on my tip toes to kiss him passionately. The want and feelings I have for him, my body could no longer hold back. I didn't care anymore about my virtue or being betrothed. This man made me crazy and I didn't want to wait any longer, as I continued to kiss him passionately. He started walking me backwards till I hit the bed and laid me down. As my back touched the bed, we seperated and stared at each other breathlessly. " I want you Shawn, in every way. I can't hold back anymore, we both feel the same about each other and I don't want to wait" as I stared into his deep green eyes. He licked his lips, " Cara, I want to make it special for you. I don't want it to just be something that we do because of the heat of the moment. If you really want to, then let me plan something special" he said as I just immediately kissed him again, enjoying the taste of his lips against mine. " Okay, if that's what you really want" I replied back as he kissed my nose and helped me get off the bed. " Now go get dressed before I change my mind. I'll be finishing up downstairs with the security system " as he swatted my butt and handed me the envelope. He left the room and I sat down on the bed, wondering what it could be. I quickly opened it and there was letter from none other than my fiancee, Prince Adrian.

My Dearest Cara,

I write this to you in hoping that you enjoy your gift that I sent to you. I know you enjoy your independance and so I hope this will help with that. I will remind you that you are mine and mine alone and I will protect you. This car is outfitted to withstand anything that may come your way in a dangerous situation. Now granted, I know your bodyguard will protect you, but this is just an added measure. I hope that you are doing well and that you succed greatly in your studies, your a very smart young lady and I cannot wait to marry you. I know our engagement is a little bit longer than I like, but it is best for your future. I will be coming out there in a few months during your break to spend time with you my dear, I cannot wait.

As I read the letter, I threw it on the ground. I don't know why he is so possessive over me, we barely met! This man drives me crazy, I wish I never met him. I was a bit curious as to what my surprise was, so I quickly pulled on a pair of skinny jeans and a v-neck shirt and strappy sandals and headed downstairs. I opened the door and didn't realize that Shawn was standing there fixing something up above his head. I stopped and just watched his muscles stretch through his shirt and when he brought his arms down, he just smirked at me. " Looking at something you like your highness?" he teasingly said to me. " Of course, you" as I pecked him on the lips quickly. He smiled at me and as I looked past him, I saw a black Audi suv in our driveway. " Who's car is that?" I asked him. He turned around and looked over his shoulder, then put his hand in his pocket and handed me some keys. " It's yours" he replied as I was in shock. " Why did he buy me a car?" Shawn just shrugged, "I don't know, you'll have to ask him" he frowned as he let me move past him as I walked down towards my new vehicle.
