Chapter 12

Jared got off her. He got up and went to his bathroom. She went to hers. She got all cleaned up. She went to her bed. Her door opened.

“You think I’m going to let you sleep alone? Hell no.” He grabbed her and brought her to his room. She laughed a little.

“Remember when we used to sneak into each others rooms for sleep overs?” She asked as he laid her down on the bed. He crawled in next to her and wrapped his arms around her.

“Yes. You were so cute. So small.”

“Mom and dad used to get so angry.”

“Well knowing what we know now they probably were afraid we would start the bond so young. Go through everything so young.” True.

“You want to know something weird?”

“What?”

“I was literally getting ready to walk to your door reject you and move on with my life.”

“Really?” He sounded so surprised. He should know her by now.

“Logic kicked in for a second and I was like he’s my brother. Don’t have s*x with him. Then you opened the door and pulled me inside. All that went out the window. I didn’t care if you saw me naked.” He laughed.

“To be fair you’ve been sending me some interesting pictures. If you cared that I saw you naked that would be a surprise.”

“True. Why did I send you those?”

“Do I seriously have no control over what I do now?”

“You do… Just a little less control when it comes to your mate. We will both live to please the other.”

“Why does it have to be all women with me? When I’m in heat?” He laughed.

“Okay tomboy calm down.” She laughed. Jared and his friends have always said she was one of the guys. She could knock back more shots than them and she could guzzle beer with the best of them and still win. “Whenever a female is on heat men can’t control themselves. Doesn’t matter that you have a mate. Wolves go crazy.” Made sense.

“What happens if I really need you?”

“Then I will come. If you actually need me. I’m not going to leave my mate alone. It can be a really scary time for some women. Some women need their mates.”

“Why don’t you just stay? I can lock the door again.”

“Because I won’t have control over McAllister. Bianca will be hard to contain. Near impossible. They will want each other and howl and claw to get out.”

“Yay. So I just got my wolf and she’s crazy.”

“Wonder where she gets it from.” He had a devilish look on his face. She laughed. She flipped over and he started kissing her. Gosh her body wants him.

“I want you again.”

“I want you so badly. But we can’t.”

“You are the worst mate.” He laughed.

“You wouldn’t have said that an hour ago.” True. He was a good mate.

“I think you’re actually generous at least in bed.” He laughed.
