Chapter 9

McAllister walked into the bathroom. She heard Jared shift back. She put her shirt back on. He came out completely clothed.

“You smell different but I don’t think you’re pregnant. If you want I can have nick drop off a test.” Did she want that? Not really. She would rather not know.

“It’s up to you.” He pulled out his phone. Probably wanted her to do one just to be safe. She didn’t want to do one. She would rather be ignorant for months than deal with her mate and his temper if she did end up pregnant. She knows he won’t hurt her. He may take all that anger out on poor nick. Nick could take it though. He’s used to both of them. Her head was pounding. She pulled the blankets down and turned her back on Jared and went to sleep.

She jerked awake. She was drenched in sweat. Jared was awake next to her.

“You were screaming.” He said. She really doesn’t know why but she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. He pulled her closer. She straddled him. He deepened the kiss. She felt the sparks. they were there. And they felt amazing. He released her and moved his face to her neck. he started kissing and licking and sucking her neck. She could feel his b***r. She moved her head back and moaned. She started grinding on him. He felt so good.

“Baby girl we need to stop.”

“But I don’t want to.” She really didn’t.

“But we have to.”

“Why?”

“We can’t. We have to wait for the full moon.”

“I don’t want to wait that long.” He laughed a little.

“What’s so funny?”

“A couple of months ago you couldn’t wrap your head around being my mate now you can’t seem to get off of me.” She laughed.

“You’re my emotional support animal.” He laughed.

“I’m your mate. I’m here for all your emotions.”

“Well I’m feeling horny. You going to do anything about that?” She moved back. His eyes turned black for a second.

“We have two weeks. Just two weeks.”

“Seems like you’re trying to talk yourself out of it.”

“I am. I have very little resistance to you.”

“I’m beginning to have none for you.”

“Told you it wouldn’t be a problem once you shift.” She laughed.

“You just look so hot right now.”

“Trust me it was all I could do not to shift back and finish stripping you and have s*x with you.” She really liked the sound of that. She heard him growl. Oops she was apparently aroused.

“Please do something to my body.”

“No. I can’t.” He moved her off him.

“Boooo!” She yelled. He laughed. She laid back down. Her back was to Jared. He started spooning her. She was completely engulfed by him. That’s exactly what she needed. She drifted back to sleep.

Della woke in the middle of the night. There was a pregnancy test on her night stand. She did need to pee. She got up and grabbed the test. She read the directions and peed on it and left it on the sink. Jared will probably see the results before she did. She climbed back into bed. Jared rolled over and pulled her closer. She smirked. Jared was right. A couple of weeks ago she couldn’t wrap her head around him being her mate. Now she can’t get enough of him or his body or his touch. She fell back asleep.

She woke to Jared kissing her head.

“Hey you’ve been asleep for a while it’s almost noon.” Oops. She sat up in bed. “You’re a little warm to the touch.” She started cramping. She looked into Jared’s eyes. He was battling his wolf for dominance.

“We should shift into our wolf forms.”

“Why? Have evil plans for me?” She asked. He smirked.

“Well you’re not pregnant and you started your period. McAllister is going crazy.”

‘You should let McAllister and I play. It will make you feel better.’

“Bianca wants to come out and play with McAllister.” Jared shot off the bed and walked into her bathroom. She stripped and let Bianca out. McAllister came out of the bathroom. She took off down the stairs and outside. She started running along the beach. McAllister seemed to be struggling to keep up. She let Bianca take over completely. Jared already let McAllister. Eventually Bianca let her back. Her and Jared went back to the beach house. He went to his room and she went to hers.

‘Thanks. My mate made me feel a lot better.’

‘I’m glad. Now if only my mate would make me feel better.’

‘He will. He’s going to have a hard time resisting you.’ She hopes so. She shifted back. She went into her bathroom and she peed. She wiped. Yep her period. No wonder Jared’s wolf was crazy. She went ahead and showered. She got dressed. She smelled pizza. She put on Jared’s oversized hoody. She walked downstairs. Nick and Jared were drinking in the kitchen. Jared growled. She laughed.

“Calm down.”

“He can’t. You have him in knots.” Nick said. She was glad she wasn’t the only one.

“Nick is going to take care of you for the next 5 days.” Jared said and got up. He stopped behind her. He laced his hands around her waist. He buried his face in her neck. “I can’t wait to taste you.” He whispered in her ear. Nick started laughing. Della was embarrassed. She knows she was AROUSED. Jared growled.

“Fine I’ll leave.” Nick walked outside.

“You need to control McAllister.”

“He missed his chance to be with his mate the first time. It made him uneasy that you weren’t around and he’s anxious. He wants you… badly. And his resistance level is even lower to you.” He started kissing her neck. She moaned and pushed her butt into his groin. She instantly felt his b***r. “Oh baby girl.” He groaned against her neck. She grinded on him a little. How did that make her more aroused? She turned around and he started kissing her. She wrapped her legs around him. He had such a strong body. A very firm body. He growled against her lips.

“Your arousal is killing me.” He said. He put her on the kitchen counter. “I want to taste you.” He started kissing down her neck and his hands roamed her legs.

“Sorry but you got to go.” Nick. Jared growled loudly. Della laughed. He should have just thrown a bucket of cold water on both of them. She smirked a little. Nick would do that. He was definitely a fun friend to have.

“He’s right. Time for you to leave.” Jared growled and bit her playfully on the neck.

“I can’t wait to mark you.” He started licking her neck then bit it again. She giggled and pushed Jared away. He pulled her closer.

“Okay so you need to leave before I need to save her from you.” She laughed. Jared pulled her close.

“Try and I will hurt you.” He dug his nails into her hips.

“Down allister.” She noticed the black of Jared’s eyes. They got worse. They got blacker. “Oh no. Back up!” She pushed Jared away with her legs. He let out a growl. “Nick!” She said. He pulled her to the other side of the island. Jared growled.

“Down boy. You have like 13 days left.” Nick said.

“Touch her again you die.” He’s a little too protective.

“I’m beginning to think he doesn’t want to leave.” Della said. She stood behind nick. Her human shield. “How about… I go lock myself in my room. If I get hungry nick can bring me food.”

“You do realize he can probably break your door?” Nick said.

“Probably. But I don’t think he’s leaving anytime soon.” Nick laughed.

“He really doesn’t want to. Him and the wolf are on edge. He’s still worried about you.” True.

“True. Honestly Bianca is going a little crazy. She doesn’t want him to leave.”

“Fine then I’ll stay.” Jared said. That was a little too easy. Honestly she would be fine if he left.

“Looks like I’ll be in my room.” She went to walk up stairs. Jared ran after her.

“No!” She took off running. Jared was much faster. He grabbed her and pulled her close and kissed her. She moved her body closer. He growled. She shook. He makes her body so excited.

“At the risk of being beat up. Give the girl a break. I can smell her arousal!” Nick said from the kitchen. Della couldn’t help but laugh. Jared snarled and released her. He started walking back to the kitchen. She took that time to sneak upstairs and locked her door.
