Alec led his brother to one of the smaller cabinet rooms, typically reserved for the kings private internal affairs. It seemed as though Alec was being granted more power and authority by thier father in recent years, indicated by the numerous private books open across the circular table. Alistair proceeded to sit on one of the chairs, when he heard Ethan asking where he was. The moment he saw his brother Alistair had completely forgotten about meeting Ethan in the garden, he responded simply with 'Alec is here, just wait for me'.
Alec had positioned himself infront of the window, staring off into the distance, it was down to Alistair to break the silence. 'So you need me, what for?' he asked solemnly as he pulled one of the open books towards him. 'Where is it?' Alec demanded
Alistair took his eyes of the page titled 'Ways to kill a Witch' and looked at his brother in bewilderment 'Where's what?'. Alec was displeased with his brothers response turning round in a rage, slamming his fists against the oak table, a large crack appeared from the force. His eyes seeping into darkness with a raging storm swelling from within 'WHERE IS IT ALISTAIR!' he shouted the words once more. Alistair refused to be treated by anyone in this way let alone his own brother, any other wolf would bow down, but not him. He raised up from his chair his heart pounding as the adrenaline rushed through is body, his blue eyes shifting brighter as he kept his cool. 'I do not know what you are asking for and I suggest you calm down' he kept his tone low but firm, for he to was an alpha prince.
Alec remained tense, bearing his teeth as he let out a deep growl resisting the urge to shift. 'Then leave' he glared at Alistair, who gladly left the room deciding not to waste any further time in unimportant matters. By the time he reached Ethan in the garden he had calmed himself, but his best friend could see the anger still lingering on his face. 'Should I even ask what happened' he called out as Alistair who strolled towards the fountain, 'Alec has lost it, thats what happened' he growled.
'Well you better suck it up, last thing I need is you snapping at Sasha'
If anyone were to get away with speaking to Alistair when he was in a bad mood it was Ethan, but that still didnt stop him pelting his friend in the back of the head, knocking him off the edge of the fountain. To Ethan it felt like being hit with a brick and he caressed the back of the head he could already feel the bump beginning to form. Alistair watched as his friend struggle to lift himself off the grass 'I feel loads better lets go eat' he stated.
'are you kidding me?' Ethan asked laying his back on the floor as he waited for his vision to fully return. Taking a quick glance across to see Alistair's smug grin before hear the word 'Be thankful I didnt push you in, Ethan'
