Lycan's Rogue Mate

Chapter 1

Maria's POV

Since it was advisable for every werewolf to run at least 3 or 4 times in a week in order to make shifting easy and fast, it also makes the werewolf very alert and that's why I am been chased by the male wolves of the Alpha's Lycan park.

Although it was cold, and I could feel my pulse accelerating as I ran through the woods somehow close to the Alpha's house. The air thickened around me as I began to run quicker. They were behind me, hunting me in their wild forms. My canines brushed against my lips as I felt them getting closer. Their trails echoed through the splintered, dark woods.

I have been running for over 6years after I tried to kill an alpha 'either way I have been trained to kill alpha's' but I ended up blinding the alpha and disfiguring his face, I knew I had to run away from my park else I will be killed for commiting such, and since then I have been living in Alpha's Lycan park.

While the Alpha's wolves were chasing me because they feel I am a threat to them since I am a lone wolve ' some call it rogue' . As I ran the moon was crimson above me. It begged for blood. Bones snapped and cracked as I shifted into a devilish looking werewolf. My pace quickened naturally and I dashed my way out of the woods.

Even though my lace was faster than theirs, they never stopped chasing me, since they have been doing that for over 6years now. They continued to chase me as if I was the only lone wolf alive. However, something was strange this time. The wolves were stronger and sharper. Regardless of many times I struggled to hide, they found me but they failed to capture me.

I guess Alpha Lycan must have sent strong and fast wolves after me, after they others tried but failed. He want my blood just like any other Alpha or wolves who had no rank, they feel lone wovles are dangerous and Causes harm to their park, while others feel were are bitches. My heart pounded against my furry body. Shallow breaths made their way out of my punctured lungs. My limbs were sore along with the rest of my body. I was unaware of how much longer I could run.

It's over 6years now, and I have been constantly running, as the sun downed and the moon had apppeared and ravaged the sky with its own darkness. I came to a quick stop but my heart proceeded to panic. A chill traveled through my spine as my eyes quickly wandered around the woods.

I needed to escape before those wolves catch up with me but I was very confused right now, and don't know where the goddam road is right now. I groaned and rolled my eyes kicking off the mud off my paws. I could hear the sound of those male wolves approaching but still don't know where to head. The woods were dark with hardly any source of light. Branches snapped behind me, and a growl made its way to my ears. They were here. Sniffing the air, I realized that they were circling around me, one by one, trying to ambush me in their mischievous games, but I didn't surrender, not yet.

I stopped walking and looked around me, the forest is a lot more dense here. I sniffed the air, the smell of rain and pine hit my flared nostrils. I sniffed again smelling deeper, a pack scent hit my nose. I'm on pack territory and I didn't even notice.

Snap

I guess they've finally realised there's a rouge on their territory. I harden my face and make it void of emotion slowly I turn around and there stood 3 boys, all good looking. The first boy on the left has blonde hair and brown eyes, he has a slightly crooked nose. The boy on the right has blonde hair also but he has dark roots, he has light blue eyes. The guy in the middle had brown hair and brown eyes, I'm guessing he is beta from the power emitting from him. But he's not as strong as an Alpha though, I smirked.

"What are you doing on our land rouge?" The beta spat the word rouge in disgust. I just shake my head and smile at them, my smile turns into an evil one in a matter of seconds.

"What are you doing on our land rouge?" This time it was the one on the right who spoke. After I calmed down I spoke.

"Just having a little stroll, don't mind me" I started to walk away when they snarled and growled at me but I just grinned.

"Your coming with us to meet the Alpha he will decide what to do with you" The beta said, that made me freeze. Me and Alphas don't mix they are all conceited assholes. I slowly turned around and looked at them.

"I'm not going with you, you'd have to take me by force" The Beta growled and stood in a fighting stance and I did the same. We both circled each other, no one made a move.

"What is your name rouge?" The one on the right asked.

"Maria" The Beta stopped circling me and looked into my eyes, they held a mixture of fear and anger. As soon as they were there they were gone, I heard a growl and looked over to the guy on the left, his growl emitted power probably a third-in-command. Before I could even register he shifted and jumped at me. I shifted just before he landed and scratched all down his stomach. He whimpered a bit but got back up and continued to growl at me, I growled at him and we both circled each other. He jumped at me again but I dodged it and scratched his back, he spun around and clawed my snout.

We continued to fight getting, scratches and bites at each other. The third in commands anger was fading and he was getting weaker. I scratched his neck and he collapsed onto the floor, I grinned in victory and looked back over to the beta. He growled but it got cut of by a louder growl that shook the whole forest. I guess they called the Alpha, cowards.

I looked to my left to see a group of 5 men coming closer towards me, all warriors built with muscle. I growled at them and they growled back, they looked at me and then to the third-in-command. They stopped walking and then I heard a snap behind me, I spun around and just caught a wolf about to pounce on me, I scratched his stomach. When he landed he jumped back and tried to scratch me, I dodged and jumped onto him biting down on his neck, not hard enough to kill him but enough for him to submit. He finally submitted and I let go of him, he ran back behind the group of men.

They growled and all ran at me, I snarled and jumped meeting them midair. I scratched one of the wolfs, and landed back on my paws, I spun around and jumped onto one of the wolves who was too slow to turn. I bit into his neck and let him drop to the ground, instantly killing him.

The fight continued me getting hardly any scratches on them, and them getting loads on me. I was starting to get slow from the blood loss, a wolf scratched down my side making me even weaker. A wolf then charged forward and landed on top of me, he bit into my neck only enough to draw blood. I was to weak from the blood loss to fight back.

Noooooo, I can't let them get hold of me just yet. I'm not ready to face Alpha Lycan, although I have never seen him but people's description about him is something I don't want to experience. I eventually found my way to the roads that paved through the woods to where I parked my Bike.

As soon as I touched the ground, I shifted back to my human form although naked, I had to wrap my hands over my bare breast and body as the cold grazed over my entire body heading towards my Bike, when I got there I took my jacket hanging on the Bike and put it on. Sitting on the Bike, I glanced back at the woods wondering if the male wolves were still there, although I knew I won't bother coming outside since there were people walking on the road.

"I need to get home," I said aloud then turning my key in my Bike, and switching the engine on then taking off to my apartment that was not too far from the woods but close to the City.

The panic in throat calmed down a little as the Redwalkers city apppeared in my front. The Redwalkers park is a small park close to the city Minnesota, but the distance between the city and woods is not more than an 1hr. I will say half of the people in the city are humans while the rest are wolves. They both work in Mall, offices, hospital, schools and social parks. Coming to Minnesota for 6years now have been hard and the same time fun since I have just one human friend 'Ciara'.

As per the law, wolves weren't allowed to snap at other wolves in the city grounds. Blood could be only shed in the woods, nowhere else. Humans resided almost everywhere, and they don't even know that they had wolves in their midst, ' In this World most areas are filled in this creatures, but human fail to know them expect you have a strong sense of smell' however, they were unaware of the danger they were surrounded with.

I have not been noticed by the wovles in the City because I tried to mingle with human and even went to a witch in France, to get a body spray that stops my scent from coming out, but these sometimes fails, and it couldn't be hidden.

I directed my eyes towards a small parking lot just outside my building. Once I sensed no danger, I threw on a jacket over my bare body and then stepped out of my Bike and ran through the building to the elevation when a heard the sound from my phone.

My body froze for a second and a gasp escaping through my throat when I heard the sound of the phone ringing. Looking down at my phone I could see that the caller was Ciara

"Hey girl," I said picking the call while relaxing inside the elevator

“Hey, Maria where have you been.. I've been standing at you r door for close to 30 minutes now, I thought we where going out" she snapped at me sounding tried and angry

" I will be there now, I'm at the elevator….just give me a minute" I replied coming out of the elevator to my apartment

“Okay, Just another minute. If you ain't here then I'm leaving" she said thinking I was just pulling her legs.

“C'mon I just stepped out of the elevator, I will be there in a minuteStepping in the elevator," I said as i walked to the front of my apartment standing right in front of Ciara.

It was an unpleasant and a rough evening. Ciara was shocked when she saw that she forgot that her mouth where still opened.

“Hey Ciara, I'm sorry I couldn't make it on time Something came up, promise to make it up" I said opening my apartment, walking inside my apartment… My bare body which was already trembling because of the cold and fear from the Alpha's male wolves finally received some warmth.

"Don't tell me you went for a walk again, and why are you naked"Ciara questioned as she glanced at me whiling trying to get some answers.

"Well I got chased again, as usual" I said smiling, while pouring water into a glass

"But why, I thought they stopped chasing you, hope we are safe right now" she said looking around my apartment

"I guess they are back on track — to hunt me down," I replied. A moan choked out of me when my body crashed on my comfortable couch. My bones were aching with tremendous pain, and I required a long rest.

"Why you?" She asked again looking curious

Ciara wasn't aware of the Redwalkers park or the Alpha and what is is capable of, she only knew me as a run away wovles and that's all. She was the only person close to me 6years ago when I came to Minnesota, we met at a*****e where I helped her with a thug who tried to take her wallet. Ever since then we have been good Friends.

We quickly bonded over a couple of beers at a bar nearby the store. And since then, she had been my best friend, although I didn't tell her most of my secret since I was a lone wolf and nobody is to be trusted.

She was my human best friend and also my weakness.

I finally told Ciara my fate as per my stay in Minnesota ancwhy Alpha's Lycan wolves are after me

"Because I am a lone wolfor rogue just as some people call it, Ciara they hunt down wolves like me," I whispered as I rubbed the nape of my neck.

"That's scary and dangerous, Maria you should leave here for now" Ciara suggested looking confused and worried

"There is nothing I can do Ciara, I can't escape them because they are among human, but the only thing they can't do is hurt me while in public, so I just have to keep hiding and merging with human" I said with a comforting tone, explaining things to Ciara

The Park were just afriad of me been a wolf, they don't even know me or where I come from. Whenever I shift they were able to trace my scent since it was that of a lone wolf which they know it's dangerous.

“In that case you should get some rest, I have to head out now...make sure you take care of yourself Maria" Ciara said heading towards the door after taking her purse with her. I knew she was still worried about me, but I guess I can take care of myself since I was well trained.

"Thanks for coming," I hugged her tightly waving her goodnight, she waved backed and walked out of my apartment, although I felt guilty because I just wasted her time today, since she came and waited for me. I was the one who called her eailer that day to come go put with me, but I was still the one who disappointed her.

’well there's always another day' I said to myself going up to my room. I had a sound from my phone and when I checked I realized that tomorrow was blood moon'day if mating' a day which every wovle who is above 18 get something special , A Mate

The blood moon stressed me out each and every time. The terror of being mated with someone clawed my insides out. I couldn't bear male wolves — due to their nature, they were perceived to be more possessive, violent, and aggressive to their females. It was also a known fact that in the werewolf world, females were underneath men as they held more power. Rubbish.

I wasn't trained that way, in my park I was told to be independent and also trained to kill Alpha's in order to get more strength for the same Alpha whom I disfigured his face. For me, I will rather die mateless than being mated with a male who sees nothing except for power, domination, and control and who want to f**k me at any given chance since a male wolf can't always control himself— who sees a female as a breeding w***e to r****h and command.
