Chapter 17

Benson's POV

The next day, door slammed open again.. "Wake up" ugggh I swear I can never sleep in.

"Can someone shut him up, f**k" I groaned. "My fuckin Lucy says, all I heard after that is "OW, WHAT THE f**k! " well that woke me up. I shot up faster then a ground hog on ground hog day. All I see are the pups rubbing their face… I turned and glance at Lucy, her response was "Oops" with a big smile on. she actually threw a fuckin shoe at one of them.

"Are you guys awake now!" Louisa asked Yes you little s**t we're fuckin awake now. I thought in my head. Haha you know you can actually say it out loud, my Luna, Lucy grumbled as she went on looking at Louisa at a straight face.

Well we don't even know if i***t rogue's alpha even told his wolves and other pack members, that he will regret the war because a lot of blood was shed and Lucy has been down for over two weeks now. Blake on the other side is not just himself although he is still guarding his pack with the little strength he has.

If anything Jaxon mightwant to kill us now! f**k i haven't even ate breakfast yet! I said. Really, your worried about breakfast Benson, and i doubt my Mate would hurt us like that. Don't overthink it. I told Lucy. I just block her. At this point I'm just irritated. I was rejected by my mate Maria, and I thought going for a contract marriage will make things work out in the company, but instead it is just getting worse by the day and night.

Early this morning, awaken from my beauty sleep twice, been stuck in this woods for 5 days, and to top it all off I haven't ate breakfast yet. Oh nobody better say anything stupid to me.

Luke walk us up the stairs, sun was shining so brightly, reminds me of what my Maria always say, "it's a beautiful day, go out and enjoy what nature has to offer", I miss her and my kids so much, I hope to go see the kids as soon as the pack is in peace. "Stop man handling me dumbass" one of Jaxon wovles said as Lucy yelled at one of the wovles, causing Luke to stomp over there to where there at, "What the hell do you think your doing" the guard ask. I was gonna say something but was cut of by Luke's growl. "DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH MY MATE LIKE THAT AGAIN" I exclaimed. Awww that was so cute. I look back and saw Lucy wide eye, a pink shade creeping up her cheeks. Her eyes averted towards mines and started power walking to me. "Haha she is my Mate of course blushing" I teased.

"Shut up" lucyt spat.

"We're going up to the my office, I wants to see the wovles from the rogue's pack and other business to attend to" I said, in a calm demeanor. We walk into the packhouse, yes it was huge and this is will be Lucy's first time entering the house since we got married! Nothing like the nursery, my house in Minnesota or Maria apartment in town. It was like 4 story high, yes it was beautiful. We walk up to the fourth floor, there was 3 rooms. Up there unlike the other 2 floors. We stopped in front of two double doors. This stupid intoxicating smell was so strong. Luke was obviously mind linking Charissa that we're here. "Okay follow me" I said. We did just that. Followed him. To our fate.

We enter and I sat in an office chair with my back towards the wolves, looking out the big window, outside. The room was so hot, i just wanna jump on top of them, and remove their head from their body right there and then, I said to myself,

I didn't want them. May I remind you. I said. I turned around with a cold face. Looking at them and smirk.. yes I f*****g smirk. Look at that face, I wonder how the got they got or became rogues, did their mates rejected them or maybe something like that-, I had to block myself, before i finish that sentence, even though I know what i was gonna say. 'bunch of lonewolves' which will definitely make them angrier. Then I hear Lucy laughing. Oh goddess no!!! tell me I did not say that out loud. I turn to look at Alex confirming I indeed say it outloud. Alex trying really hard to not laugh, to the point his face was turning red. He's good at that. The wolves didn't dare look at me.

"I was just saying, I mean telling Lucy something, I mean reading something about rogue wolves?" Came out more of a question. Making Lucy fall to the floor laughing, with TEARS. I'm f****d. "b***h shut the f**k up" I mind link her. She never responded. She laughs for another minute or so. This b***h. I'm gonna kill her. Even Noah laugh out loud for a second. "Okay okay I'm done" Lucy said while wiping her tears getting up. Although I was happy that I was able to make Lucy laugh after two weeks of her locking herself up in the room and crying her eyes out.

What are you rouges doing in my territory" I said with disgust. Oh heck no. Did i just.. you know what, I'm a shut up, cause I'm a kill them if they don't. I look at then impatient waiting for them to answer. Pssh i can't keep waiting.

"We're sorry we were just passing through, we didn't realize we step into your territory, we mean no harm" one of the wolves replied. Hmm I guess I can be serious when i wants to be.

"What are your names" I asked. "I'm Jonathan and this is my childhood Ava" Jonathan reply. "Is there anything else you would like to inform me with" Benson asked Jonathan, and I guess he mind linked his other wolve

"well.. is there anything else we should tell them",

"NO" I mind link he mindlinked him back. "Uh, No there's nothing else" he reply. "How am I suppose to accept you guys in my pack if you're not telling me the truth" Benson said, What the f**k, does he know? I started panicking, what if he knows Jaxon, what if I start an alliance with Jaxon. What if I handed them to Blake . I could see one of the wwolvs panicking, the other one grabbed his hands and tried to calm him down.

"Is there something you know that you think we should know" Lucy asked back. With a glare, staring into a rogue wolves eyes which is forbidden, because it's a sign of threat, but I won't blame Lucy since these wolves alpha had a hand in her mothest death.

A sign that your ready to challenge them. Oh fuckin well. I don't care anymore at this point. "How dare you challenge me" Benson said. My wolf kept trying to take over, but I'm not letting him, he might just submit to Lucy and try to console her but this wasn't the time I have other things to deal with in the pack, or even worst try and jump on top of her right here. I had to stop, and take a deep breath.. breathe in breathe out..

"look Mr Jonathan, can we talk. Alone. In private" I said calmly.

"What the hell A, I'm not leaving, anything you need to say, you'll say it in front of me" Ava mind link Jonathan. but he didn't respond.

"Alright, Alex take your Ava out of this room" I said. "Whaaat NO! I'm not leaving" Ava stated . But Alex unfortunately is stronger then she is, and drag her out ther office.

Jonathan's POV

"Lets just get stright to the point" I said. While Jonathan stares at me emotionless.

"You don't need to accept me into your pack, I don't wanna join anyways, but all I ask is accept Ava, her mate is here, she belongs here" Jonathan said while taking a seat. Still staring at him emotionless. "Why would you say that" I question. Huh? ..i'm so lost.

"Look we both know I'm Charissa's mate, and you clearly don't want me for her and around your pack, there's only 2 options I see here, you'll give me a cottage outside your pack territory and in return I'll do you a favor and stay outta your way and Charissa's, plus I can always keep an eye out for your pack, if there's something suspicious, or I and Charissa can reject each other and be in alot of pain" I blurted out, hoping he'll agree to the first option. I did see a couple cottage near his pack border, while being escorted to the cell.

He gave me a puzzled look, and i guess thought about it for a couple minutes.. "okay you have yourself a deal". Wow he agreed to it, this is good, cause it's me Jaxon wants not Ava, plus I'm sure Alex would lay his life on the line for Charissa.

I mind link someone, and a few seconds later someone enters, "This is Mark my p.a, he'll make sure you get there safe" Benson told Jonathan.

"Okay thank you" he turn to look at Benson one last time before leaving, he didn't even look up, he went right back to his paperwork. What a douche bag.

He gave me a puzzled look, and i guess thought about it for a couple minutes.. "okay you have yourself a deal". Wow he agreed to it, this is good, cause it's me Jaxon wants not Ava, plus I'm sure Alex would lay his life on the line for Charissa. I spotted Alex on my way out, looking very concern, "hey what did the alpha say", aww it's so cute he's worried about Ava being accepted in.. "nothing we made a deal, you can talk to him after, but don't worry Ava will stay with her Mate. Here, please take care of her, she's all I got" I said. Walking pass ther border with the p.a, it was actually fun. He's pretty funny.

"Well here's their cottage and here's where I say goodbye mr… ",

"Jonathan" I said. Before he continue walking i screamed out, "hey what pack is this", he look at me dumbfounded. "Alpha didn't tell you? This is one of our neighbors pack, the name of the Alpha is Blake a d he is our Luna's brother, and our alpha is the one and only Benson Carter" he said with so much pride. "Okay bye" i waved.

Hmmm alpha Blake, I know I've heard of this pack before, and do many things about the alpha….

Finally sleeping in with no one waking me up. It was the most comfortable sleep I've ever gotten. Sat up in bed look around.. wait this isn't my room. So I tried to get outta bed, but something was holding me back.. I look down to what it is, someone arms were wrapped around my waist. I slowly turn my direction to where the culprit is to see who it is… Blake? Wait.. how? What happened last night? Better question.. who the f**k changed me? Oh. My. Goddess. Did we?

I turn around once again ready to give him hell, but was taken back at how relax, Blake looked. So instead I layed back down facing him and admiring him while I can, cause this most likely won't happen again, I decided to do something stupid, I lift my fingers and started to trace his jawline, sparks & tingles were shooting up from my arm throughout my body.

I went from his jawline to his lips, my eyes were fixated on those kissable lips. I didn't realize it until after i look up from his lips, into his beautiful sky blue eyes. Different emotions we're flickering in them guilt, hurt.. and lust? I shot up, pryed his arms off of me and ran to the bathroom.. my heart is beating fast. I feel a blush heating my face.. walk to the bathroom sink and threw water on it. I look up in the mirror, and saw something horrific, and screamed!

Not a second later after I scream, the bathroom door flung open, with a worried Blake, "what happened? What's wrong? Are you hurt? Do I need to call the pack doctor?" He asked worried, while examining my face and body, "No Blake i don't need a pack doctor" i said slapping his hands off of me. "But I do wanna know why my face look like a unicorn threw up on?" I asked annoyed.

He had a scowl face. "You don't remember what happen love?" He asked. Wait did he just called me love? Jonathan get ahold of yourself.. so i shook the thought out. "If I remember, would I be asking you Blake" i reply awkwardly smiling. He shivers then smiles, taking steps towards me, as I'm taking steps backwards, Until I'm back up to against a wall, while we're face to face, well technically face to his chest. Did I mention he's freakish tall? "I love it when you say my name" he whisper while he leans down placing a kiss on my forehead, Walking out the bathroom, not before turning around sending me a wink. What the f**k just happen.

I came out the bathroom, Blake was no longer in the bedroom. So I followed the smell of bacon.. and here we are awkwardly having breakfast. Quietly. "Uh Blake, what happened last night?" I questioned. "Why is my face, and some parts of my body bruised up?" I asked. He slams his fist down on the table, HARD. And broke the table in half, which of course made me yelp and flinch.

I came out the bathroom, Blake was no longer in the bedroom. So I followed the smell of bacon.. and here we are awkwardly having breakfast. Quietly. "Uh Blake, what happened last night?" I questioned. "Why is my face, and some parts of my body bruised up?" I asked. He slams his fist down on the table, HARD. And broke the table in half, which of course made me yelp and flinch.

There goes my breakfast.. he really has anger issue. My face immediately frown, looking at my bacon's… on the floor. R.I.P bacon. I put my hands over my heart, and wipe a fake tear with my free hand. "What the hell wrong with you" he looks at me with his eyebrow raised up. I clear my throat

"ahem, I think I'll head home now, thank you for breakfast.. and I'll see you at the packhouse later, i'm just gonna go home and change" i stated heading towards the front door.

"What do you mean," he asked while following behind me. "I still gotta work Blake, I still need food and other personal items to buy", I said annoyed thinking back to my bacon/breakfast, I literally had maybe 3 bites. I'm gonna be hungry until who knows when. "Well, I think you should go rest, take the day off, come back for lunch and dinner" he stated while throwing me a sweatpant. "Okay, thank you". I said making a right, walking home? "Other way Jonathan", turning right back around walking opposite direction, of where I was first headed. Not before giving Blake an awkward smile.

Home, but yet I felt so empty. I threw myself on the bed, smiling stupidly at what happen this morning. I need to stop this foolishness. Blake has the she-wolf why would he ever want a rogue like me. I needed to go for a run, and I'll ask Ava to give me the run down on what happen last night, later.

It was getting late meaning that Ava has to leave me. "Can't I stay the night, A?"she ask.

"No, I don't need Alex or Blake, busting my door down for one of their pack member" I said while pushing her out. "I'm not even a pack member yet, well not until Saturday, which is in 2 days, so technically I'm still a rogue", she said smiling. "Yeah a rogue with a mate, a beta at that too" i said still pushing her out. "Who's here to pick her up", we both turned towards the front door direction. A behold it's Alex right on time.

"Goodnight love birds." Jonathan said while walking out of Ava's front door. waving us goodbye. "Love birds, psssh more like stalker, creepy one sided love, if you ask me" I blurted out. "Aww baby, I didn't know you felt that way. It's okay to stalk me if you want. Your not a creep" Alex said with a smirk on his face. Damn do I wanna punch the smirk right off of his handsome little face.. wait.. what? I meant face, just face.

Sure you did my wolf said, while rolling around the floor laughing. If your here to laugh and make fun of me, you can go. I said to her. Calm the f**k down, I just wanna see our mate. Goddess he's handsome. Jonathan said in a dreamy/desperate tone. Cue roll eyes mentally. When are you gonna give our mate a chance Ava? He's been so good to us. While you and Jonathan was chit chatting about stupid non- sense, Lucy and I had a conversation… she's devastated, heart broken that their mother died them, and her brother Blake is now a lover bird with a rejected Mate who was me Jonathan. She said sadly.

I'm such a horrible friend the whole time I was there, I didn't bring it up, cause I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. Maybe she needed to talk about it, bottling things up will only hurt her.

"Hey sweetheart you okay? " my mate Blake said.

"Yeah just thinking & talking to my wolf" I responded. "Anything I can help with?" He sincerely said. I stop dead in my track.. face him, face to face, grab his cheeks, sparks and tingles were everywhere. He looked shocked.

"Thank you, for everything you've done. You've been so kind to not just me but to Ava as well. While her sorry excuse of a mate doesn't even care, I swear I'm gonna kick his fuc-" i was cut off by Alex question.

"Wait, Jonathan have a mate? who's Jonathan's mate? Is he in our pack". My eyes widened.. f**k. I lowered my hands from Alex face, and started walking, no running, running away from Alex annoying question…

"hey sweetheart don't run away from me, come back and finish the conversation, Ava, Ava"

Then he started chasing me. Like I'm his prey.. I don't know why but I was running into the pack border, screaming and laughing. Making everyone stop what they're doing and focusing on us.. just then Alex came behind me, arms wrap around my waist, cheek literally to cheek, and he whispered in my ears.. "you don't even know what I wanna do to you right now Va" Noah said in a husky tone.

we were so mesmerized by each other we didn't realize people started saying how cute we were. Snapping me back to reality, and making me blush hard. Mind you this I don't blush.

"Is my girl blushing" Alex continue whispering in my ears.

"Yeah. Cause your hugging me so tight, your cutting my oxygen off, i***t" i respond trying to free myself from his grip. No luck.

We walked into the packhouse, with Alex arms still wrapped around me, and who was sitting at the kitchen island.. My bestfriend mate. Giving us a smile, he said, "it's good to see you smile Alex" Alex being the dummy that he is responded with "Thanks, hey do you know Jonathan found his mate? I think he's in our pack." Making me choke on air, if that's even possible.

And the alpha smile drop to a frown.. "Hmm, did he say who it is" alpha Benson asked? "No, but I think my mat-" i cut Alex off. By turning around to face him and placing a peck on his lips. He looked at me in shocked. s**t I was shocked my damn self. So i just gave him a sheepish grin. He then picked me up threw me over his shoulder and said "Uhh sorry Benson we gotta go, see ya"

Then he ran with me upstairs to the third floor to his room. This guy is crazy if he thinks I'm gonna just give it to him. I mean maybe we can make out for a bit… but that's it.
