‘You should be thanking Josie’s mother. She asked me to talk to you. She thought I would understand what you’d be going through, after I told her about Steve. Matti told me that Josie told her mother everything. So I think she might know what you’re like.’

‘Two. And one’s only there on a temporary basis. Luke doesn’t tell me anything. He’s very loyal to his Dad.’
Paul thought of his boys. One confiding in his girl-friend and her mother, the other in his cousin. At least they were talking to someone, and not bottling it up based on his modelling. That was something to be grateful for.
