Madame Cassandra(2)

1393 Words

Cassandra Gilbert, respectfully known as Madame Cassandra in the noble and wealthy circles came from a scholarly family, The Gilberts' and had been a pretty well-known etiquette teacher before she got married to her ex-husband, Joseph Andrews. On tying the knot, she had gradually retired and stopped taking in students to the disappointment of the people who wanted their children to learn from her. In this way, the renowned etiquette teacher, Madame Cassandra had faded out of people's sight to become her daughter's only exclusive teacher and a full-time housewife. No one had felt anything wrong with the arrangement when their family had still been closely knit together, but after it had fallen apart, Mama Olivia belatedy realized that she had no life of her own outside of their family.
