The Duplicates Meet!

Why the voice made her freeze, you might ask.

As Olivia's eyes dilated and widened in shock, she would have told you that she froze because the voice sounded exactly. the. same. as. hers! That is why!

Exactly the same! After all, she was the most familiar with her own voice and she had always believed that no two persons would sound exactly the same, not even if they were twins but the voice she heard completely subverted her way of thinking!

With thoughts of slapping the fellow who had insulted her already far away from her mind, she mechanically walked around him, since the voice came from the back, to gaze ahead.

The owner of the voice came into view and then, Olivia stiffened again in stupefaction as she gazed at the person in disbelief while doubting her 20/20 perfect vision.

Isabella Walker could have patted her chest confidently any other day that there was hardly something that could faze her and made her change expression but after today, she doubted she could ever claim that again!

Back to how she had even ended up here in the first place...

About half an hour ago, she had returned from Country Z, where she and other students had gone to participate in an Inter-Universities Competition and unsurprisingly, had came first place. On arriving in school, She had then went to report to the school as the competition's team leader before heading over to the School of Business to meet up with her childhood friends, Alex and Daniel, who also happened to be her fiancé.

And after not seeing them for over a week, she had missed the both of them dearly, especially Daniel.

Daniel and Alex were the president and vice president of a business club respectively in the university and had their personal offices.

On her way to the club's building, she had seen a figure that looked very similar to him, talking to a girl whose appearance she couldn't see in front of a lecture theater.

'Wasn't he supposed to be in his office at this time?', She thought skeptically to herself.

While doubting if it was really him, she had ended up calling out his name.

And this led to the current situation...

Two equally beautiful females with similar features stared at each other with the same shock in their eyes.

Meanwhile, when Daniel had heard Isabella call his name, he had stiffened and then became nervous, since he wasn't prepared at all to tell her about this similar looking girl, not until he was completely sure that she was no enemy.

But before he could even carry out his plan of hiding it from her, she had to coincidentally catch them red-handed! So how the hell was he supposed to hide it from her now?

Feeling powerless at the situation and knowing he couldn't hide any longer though he wasn't planning to anyways. After all, it wasn't like he was having an affair or anything of that sort.

Daniel sighed before turning around slowly to face Isabella and saw the shock and disbelief etched on her face...

He could understand it though, no one would be able to remain calm when coming face-to-face with someone who looks exactly like you.

When Isabella saw Daniel turn around and stood side-to-side with the girl who looked like her, she became dazed as she fell into an illusion that the both of them were the real couple while she... was the redundant one here.

She only came back to her senses when she heard her the voice of her other childhood friend, Alex calling her from the back. She turned around to see a very handsome guy walking towards her with a gentle smile on his face as he asked.

"Bella, what are you doing standing here alone?"

When she heard his question, she knew that it meant he hadn't seen Daniel and the girl standing next to him.

Waiting until he was right before her, a bitter smile appeared on her face as she shifted her figure to the side, while saying.

"See for yourself."

With a puzzled frown on his face, Alex watched her move to the side before shifting his gaze to the front and then, surprise appeared in his charming eyes.

"It's you!", He shouted and walked towards her, not noticing the various emotions that appeared on the other three faces.

Olivia had a nonplussed look on her face as she wondered if she had seen this fellow before, Daniel's face had a tight frown on his face not understanding why Alex had hidden it from him since he had obviously met this girl before. While Isabella had a hurt look on her face, not knowing why she was the only one in the dark about this.

Oblivious to the complex feelings in his friend's heart, Alex felt excited at seeing Olivia again after not seeing her since that particular day. He stared at her face which looked exactly like Isabella's in awe until Olivia who was being stared at felt uncomfortable under his heated gaze.

Already calming down from the shock of seeing someone who could pass as her twin, Olivia gazed back indifferently at the fellow staring at her and asked in a frosty voice.

"What, Never seen a girl before?"

Finally realizing how intense his gaze had been, Alex coughed in embarrassment and withdrew his gaze.

"Hi, I am Alex Smith. Nice meeting you, ..."

After introducing himself with a smile and purposefully letting his tone hang at the end, he stared at her with eager eyes, obviously expecting her to introduce herself.

Like the saying goes that, 'You can't hit a smiling face.'

If it had been someone like Daniel asking her name, she would definitely care not to answer but...

She glanced at the person in front of her and although she knew that he wasn't a good person though he was smiling just like her, she still spat out.

"Olivia. Olivia Andrews."

Alex's eyes lit up as he murmured, "So your name is Olivia."

"Nice name."

Olivia thanked him in a bland tone, "Thank you."

Watching the two of them exchanging names, Daniel felt inexplicably annoyed especially after remembering how Alex had hidden it from him that he had met her before.

"So how do you guys meet?" He suddenly asked directing his question to Alex.

Alex looked up at him and as if he just saw him standing there, "Hey Daniel!"

He paused before continuing, "Are you asking how Olivia and I met? Didn't I tell you the other day that I met someone who looked similar to Bella at the registrations building? That girl is Olivia but even I, was surprised that they looked this similar as I didn't see her clearly that day."

Both Daniel and Isabella breathed out a sigh of relief on hearing his explanation, knowing that he hadn't deliberately hidden it from them.

Daniel did remember him telling him something of that sort but he hadn't paid attention to it since he was quite clear that they were similar looking people in the world. How could he have known that they weren't just similar but their looks and voice are exactly the same!

It was a really weird situation, if he might say.

Isabella then looked around and noticed the attention they were attracting after all, they were a bunch of good looking people and hurriedly called the attention of the others to it.

"Uhm.. Guys, We might have to change location. If we don't want to be watched like animals in a zoo."

The other three also looked around and agreed that they had to get out of here.

"Why don't you go over to the club's building. I was heading over there before I saw you here", Isabella suggested.

"That's Okay", Daniel and Alex simultaneously agreed.

Knowing she couldn't escape, not until these people get to the bottom of the matter, Olivia sighed before following them even though she wasn't actually that curious.

Okay... maybe just a little bit...
