6 REGRET CLAUDIA I was being chased through the hallways. I could sense him getting closer and closer. The darkness was reaching out like two boney hands, trying to nab me. He’s coming. All I could hear was Quentin’s voice say, He's coming, my pet, beware! I can protect you; but you have to let me in. My pet? Please before it’s too late! I stopped. A million voices were whispering all at once in the dark halls, warning me that something was coming for me, and nothing could stop it. My pet, run! I couldn't move.
