The Past Part I

In a far far away land. There is a rich family. They are extremely wealthy that no one knew the amount of money or power they had. Even the youngest of them all is richer than the king. They are called the Pinches. The family is led by a man who has seven sons. Every of the sons have responsibilities to keep. Only the youngest son doesn’t want to be in his home country, he wants to go to a different place and make a name for himself.

When his father heard of this he was extremely pissed that his youngest son wants to go to another land and leave his family. But with the persuasion of the wife and the other older sons the father agreed only on one condition which is the youngest son won’t take a penny out of his house, if he could make a name for himself then he will give him the family’s wealth.

The youngest son, Dafilio was satisfied with that. He started trading in his home country and within three years he became a rich and powerful merchant. But he wasn’t satisfied. He wants to have a whole country under him. He checked different far away lands to see what they don’t need. He heard about a vast land that’s full of little villages. The people there didn’t have mirrors, wine, good water and some foods.

Dafilio gathered a lot of these things and went to these lands. When he got there, he saw how poorly stricken the people were. This gave him the motivation to change everything. He opened up a market and started selling a lot of the stuffs he brought. The villagers couldn’t purchase his goods because they are poor so Dafilio made a deal with them.

They would give him the right to have a lot of lands and even their houses. Many disagreed because they didn’t want to homeless but when Dafilio explained to them what he intended doing they thought about it and eventually agreed.

Dafilio gained control over the lands and began to build big houses. He selected a person out of every household to be working closely with him. Dafilio knew what to do if he really wants to build a big kingdom so he went further proposing the same deal to other lands. They disagreed and chased him away. Dafilio went back to his kingdom and started doing a lot of things to make it better. Even the neighboring kingdoms wanted to kill Dafilio because they knew of how big and prosperous his kingdom will eventually become.

The villages that chased Dafilio away came back and begged him to take them to be a part of his kingdom. Dafilio did the same thing by taking a person out of every household to work closely with him. Everyone in his kingdom became happy and praised Dafilio of his mighty thinking and powerful mind.

Two neighboring kingdoms connived to kill Dafilio and take over his lands and wealth. Dafilio heard is this and sent his men to kill the kings. He took over the kingdoms and its people. The large armies of the two kingdoms became his. Instantly he came a strong king.

So a meeting was held inviting kings of all lands to discuss things and draw a treaty. When Dafilio got the invitation he knew of their intent so he did what a wise king would do. He bribed all the other kings’ men to be on his side which was a good move because they tried to kill him but was eventually killed by their own men.

All the dead kings’ men pledged allegiance to Dafilio and swore to serve him. Dafilio was impressed with his achievement in such a little time. Within a span of three years he has done a lot and achieved quite a lot to last his generation for a thousand lifetime.

He took reigns over the different kingdoms and merged it with his. He built a huge walls around his Kingdom and named it Shibiri; which means Kingdom of the powerful.

With hundreds of thousands of soldiers, other kingdoms dreaded to be on his bad side and only resort to signing a treaty with him which Dafilio agreed to.

Dafilio went back to his home country and married his childhood sweetheart. He refused to take his father’s wealth as that is entitled to his older brothers. He got a son and a daughter. The son he named Quintus and the daughter Quela. Dafilio groomed Quintus how to be a thoughtful ruler and when Dafilio died Quintus took up the reins and ruled just like how his father wanted.

Quintus ruled with modesty and a great mind just like his father and the members of the royal court have his back just like they had his father’s back. Quintus married a nobleman’s daughter to rule alongside him. Years passed and when Quintus couldn’t have a heir the members of the royal court is planning on impeaching the Quintus. They can’t be ruled with a king without a heir. They proposed to let Quela rule as a Queen. Quela married a rich merchant also named Tullius. Tullius is a power hungry monster. He won’t stop until he has his hands on something he wants.

Quela was pregnant and pleaded with the royal court to give her brother some time, he will eventually have a heir. She was planning to give her child to Quintus so he could continue ruling. That’s what he’s born to do. Tullius disagreed he wants his child to take the reins and be the ruler.

Quintus’ wife became pregnant eventually and give birth to a son but the Queen died during childbirth. Quintus was sad and sorrowful. He couldn’t take the heartbreak and died. They named Quintus’ son Darius and Quela’s son Marcel.
