Everything happened so fast. I don’t know when I made it back to the alpha suite, but I stared at the door, waiting for something to happen as my hands shook so badly I could feel Luna Grace doing her best to keep them at bay. “Shh…sweet girl. It’s alright. The guys will be here soon. Everything is going to be okay.”
“They…they….th-th-” My stutter was getting so bad, even I had a hard time understanding what I was trying to say. The red eyes that stared back at me near the training yard will definitely give me nightmares tonight.
“Remember those creatures didn’t do anything. From what I heard, it was from your quick thinking. The warriors were even able to grab the intruders too. Don’t you worry. We are the second-strongest pack in the world because we work for it.”
