Chapter Six: The weekend starts

Lilly’s POV: it has been two days since I seen jax he stay the night and left the following day to go and see how his mum and dad was doing. Lilly - hey babe how is it mum and dad doing how is the pack holding up ? ILY XX Jax - hey my queen mum and dad are ok still trying to come to terms with what has happened but they will get there I think they are more than wanting us to take over ASAP but we will see u and ur family tonight ILY TOO Once I got jax reply I got up and started getting ready for my day I jumped in the shower and got dressed in a pretty purple singlet that says my eyes are up here with a arrow the points up and my high waisted shorts and I put my fav converse on and headed down for breakfast as soon as my mum sees me she just laughs and then dad looks at me and says no u are to change I just looked at dad with my cutest puppy dog eyes and he couldnt say no after that I love being the apple of my dads eyes he can never say no to me and he knows I know that to I just smile and sat down to eat that is when jade walks in and hugs me and the opie comes in and growls at me I just flip him off as she was my best friend 1st before she was ur mate ass he just laughs and jade looks at him like she was going to kill him which was way more funny me mum and dad all burst in to laughter and told all of us to shut up... Jade and I went for a run before going to see the pups as my grandma was looking after them and the little pup that randomly turned up was sitting with my gran as soon as he sees me he came running and gave me a big hug it had been days since i seen him I asked gran where his mum was she just looked down and sighed I asked her what was ring she just said she left and hasn’t come back. I turned to her and said he’s better of with us now gran he will be happy and grow up to be strong as we will love him just like our family does each other we stay here for a few hours before my mum. Links us to come back to the pack house as our weekend quest are going to be here in about an hour so I had to get changed and so did jade as we had fun with the kids with paint and all sorts of other craft stuff Once we were changed we headed down to wait for our quest I was so excited to see jax I missed him heaps over the last two days mum said that they were pulling up through the gate and we got up and headed out the front to wait for jax and his family once they stopped the cars jax was 1st out and ran up to me and hugged me like his life was in the danger I just laughed and hugged him back then I seen his mum and dad get out and we headed in side to eat dinner.
Jax POV:
once we arrived at Lillys pack we went and ate dinner in the pack house everyone was talking and eating as once big family it was great to finally get to know everyone out side of school and just hanging with our group, once we all were done with dinner us teenagers went to the games and media room to watch a movie, that was until me and Lilly had been linked to go to her dads office so we told everyone we would be pack soon just been called to the kings office.
Once we had got to lillys dad office we knocked and was told to come in so we did and sat down there was the king and queen and my mum and dad so everyone looked tense all i did was smile at them all. lilly just smiled at everyone and said hi. once we were seated i asked why we were called to talk to all of you ?
Alpha king Ash POV:
Lilly and jax i have asked you both in here to talk about you both taking over jaxs pack i would like to here from both of you about this as i know you both have spoken to each other about it,,, lilly spoke 1st we have talked about this and we both want to finish school first as this is our last year in high school. if this is to much to ask for then you may want to rethink who you give the alpha title to as this is the only thing we are asking for and the only thing we want to do before we take over from you both.... Jaxs dad just looked at lilly with his mouth wide open as he was not expecting lilly to talk to him that way but Luna Bella was aw struck with her and the way she spoke like a Luna or Queen Luna, jax then spoke he looked his mum and dad in the eyes and was like so what do you both say to what we want to do before we take over the alpha and luna titles, Luna Bella spoke up and was like i am fine with what you both have talked and i agree with you both and i am happy to say that you both want to finis school before taking on these roles she smiled at lilly and then gave her a big hug and told her she loves her just as much as her own daughter which made me smile as my queen. so we are all in a agreement that the kids will take over after they finish high school in 6 months, that is when clay spoke up and told jax that he is just a weak boy and that he shouldnt let a woman speak for him and that he should speak for himself. that is when i spoke again and told clay to back down off his son and that he should be proud of the man he was becoming and that his son was gifted such a strong and mindset mate as his sons mate as if he couldnt see that what he was doing was just the complete oppsite with the kids he was just shown us that he was not happy with the fact that he was still dealing with his brother and their family issues and putting them all on his son which was not fair, jax then spoke and tols his dad to pull his head in and grow up that not everything is from when he was a child where our lunas dont say a word and are not in on war meetings and that when they take over are alpha and luna that things will be changing for the better of our females and male pack members and their kids, clay then looked at his son and smiled and said now your talking like an alpha to be, i seen Lilly our the corner of my eye she was smiling so bright at what jax just said to his dad as i know that they have been talking about different ways to improve the pack and get it up to the royal standard as clay let it slip when Rylee was taken, i told every one to go to bed and we will have a big dinner party tomorrow to inform both packs of the pending changes to the packs then as Alpha clay and Luna bellas high ranking family's are coming tomorrow
