Ben Palmer was standing under the shadow of the transport and surreptitiously observing Phylicia talking to Declan. She had said to not disturb them during the conversation in such a way that Palmer knew he had better restrain himself. He had been leaning on the landing skid closest to the pair’s conversation waiting for her to finish. Kimberly Grey and Heather Stevens were also waiting close by Palmer, but he could tell that they weren’t comfortable being around him. If he moved closer to the two women, they would stop their conversation and move away casually.
