July 25thOn Monday morning I wake up to an empty house. Andy and Annie are in Denver, and my parents are working. It`s not a nice feeling. What will I do all day? I get ready in the bathroom and walk to the kitchen in my gown. I find a tray of biscuits and another big container full of cakes with a note that says: „I baked a lot of these yesterday. Dia loves them, would you take these to her? Mom”. You can`t be bored with this family. My mom started making these cakes when I was a child. It has poppy seed, walnut and a layer of apple between the pastries. I have breakfast, then I put on a dungaree with spaghetti straps. I grab Andrew`s car keys and make my way to Dia`s house in Madison. I ring the bell and bud opens the door. He is happy to see me and we hug each other.
