The meeting with the elders was interesting. Most of the time Elder Sarah spent her time just insulting Xander, which I felt sorry for him about but it was also entertaining to watch. It was like a mother scolding a naughty kid who didn’t realize why they were in trouble.
The meeting itself was both productive and confusing. I feel like I have more questions now than I did before it began, but at the same time the mate bond now makes a lot more sense to me.
