Chloe's POV
We finally arrived at my apartment. Ethan wanted to walk me to my doorstep, but I stopped him from doing that since I didn't see any need for him to see me off.
"It's alright, Ethan. I can manage, you don't need to walk me all the way there." I said to him.
"But I insist, please let me walk you."
I shook my head. "No, you stay right here. Goodnight." I made to leave but he held my hand. I turned to him, wondering what was wrong.
"I err..." He trailed.
"You what?''
"I just want to let you know that you look really beautiful tonight." Ethan complimented, and I could literally swear I saw him blush because the tip of his ear slightly turned pink. I couldn't tell why but it was kinda funny to me and I couldn't resist laughing.
