I couldn't stop staring at Ethan in disbelief, the whole thing feels like one big dream to me, I didn't think he would spend this much on my penthouse and now I just can't stop feeling bad for not trusting him. Hundred billion dollars!!
The whole crowd began applauding Ethan for securing the penthouse and when he looked at me, I couldn't even look him in the eye and so I had to turn my face away.
Ethan didn't wait for the rest of the auction, he leaned closer to me and asked if I wanted to leave. The whole thing was exhausting so I immediately agreed, but I needed to use the bathroom first.
