I literally couldn't believe what Ethan just said to me. I stared at him for a while, trying to tell if he was being serious or playing with me right now, but there wasn't a single hint of joke in his eyes, he just looked so serious.
"What are you talking about, Ethan?'' I turned my back to him. "Stop messing around." I sighed deeply.
I felt Ethan's hands on my shoulders, then he slowly made me face him.
"I'm not messing with you, Chloe. I'm being so serious right now. You know I would never play with something as serious as this. I wouldn't want to hurt you, and I'll never say anything I don't mean." He said softly.
