Chloe’s POV
The next day, I woke up to a tray of food and a note at the side of my head, on the bed stand . I yawned and got up from the bed, stretching my body to get rid of the remaining parts of the fatigue I had.
I took the note and it read;
“Good morning, sleeping beauty. I wanted to see your face before going to work but you were sleeping so cutely I was afraid of waking you up.
Make sure you eat. I’ll come back early today so we can go see my mother.
Bye.”
A smile found its way to my lips as I stared at the note. I had stayed up all night and made sure I finished that novel I was reading. I only slept this morning and didn’t know when he came in. My eyes went to the food on the table, and I rushed into the bathroom to brush my teeth.
