I went back inside, and saw Chloe pacing around, but she ran to me the moment she saw me.
"What happened? Did you get to speak to her and apologize?" She asked.
I shook my head. "No, I didn't." I replied. "I was too late, by the time I got outside her car was already leaving."
"Oh, Ethan." Chloe sighed, staring at me with a look of pity in her eyes. "This is all because of me, this happened because me and I'm so, so sorry, Ethan. I'm so sorry for everything." She apologized. "Maybe your mother was right after all, I'm nothing but bad news to you."
