“Make your choice, Ethan! You can’t possibly choose a nobody over your own mother, could you?” Rose snapped, her hands placed on her waist as she waited for Ethan’s reply.
Ethan was torn. What the heck was wrong with his mother? He loved Chloe, and he loved her as well. He didn’t know what to do. Chloe, on the other hand, stood there, trying to maintain a calm expression even though she was restless within. She had no idea where she had wronged this woman and why she hated her so much.
