Chloe’s POV
I couldn’t believe what was happening. My heart pounded in my chest as I stared at Ethan, who had a huge smile on his face. I moved close to him and whispered into his ears.
“We need to talk,” I requested, trying to stop the tears that were already gathering in my eyes.
“Can we talk after this?” He whispered back but I shook my head.
“I need to talk to you before this,” I said and he sighed.
“Anything for you,” He smiled at me and faced the crowd. “Give me a few minutes, please.” He said and followed to the back of the stage.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked the minute we were out of everyone’s sight.
“What do you mean?” He asked, acting like he had no idea what I was talking about. I knew he did because he knew Mike was my ex-boyfriend and was about to help
