A smile spread across Mr Evan's lips when Ethan said those words, he couldn't be more proud of his son for standing up for the woman he loves. He wasn't in support of whatever his wife was doing or saying to Chloe because as for him, he loves Chloe a lot, she's a nice lady and someone who's more than fit for his son, let's not forget that his son loves her dearly. Ethan reminds him of himself when he was younger, and seeing him stand up for Chloe only brought back memories of the same thing he did for his mother, the only thing is that Ethan might just be even more in love than he was at that time.
