Chloe’s POV
My eyes fluttered open to the ray of sunshine that streamed through the curtains. I got down from the bed and stretched my body, making my way to the water dispenser to get some water. I took a cup and put some water into it, downing it in one go.
I checked the wall clock and realized it was already 2pm. Ethan wouldn’t be back from work for three more hours. I needed to stroll around a bit. I took my phone and texted Freya to confirm if she was free this afternoon, and she replied with her usual emoji, telling me she was free, and texted me to meet her at a restaurant.
I smiled and freshened up, made sure I looked good before stepping out. As I alighted the stairs, I thought I’d see the girls, but it seemed they had gone to the maids quarter.
