After Kara left, Chloe rubbed her palms together. She knew Kara had dropped a threat and it shouldn't be taken lightly. She made up her mind to be careful with whatever she does with Mr. Dave from now henceforth. She wasn't going to allow Kara ruin everything she had with Ethan.
Clara, Juan and Eva stood by the kitchen door as they saw everything that happened and how Chloe was pacing back and forth. They knew she had an argument with Ethan, and hoped Ethan would come home as well.
Juan left the girls and walked to where Chloe stood. “Ma—” she paused, remembering that Chloe had asked them not to address her that way. She cleared her throat. “Chloe, it's pointless standing here and waiting for him. It will only tire you out. Why don't you go to your room? Read a book to pass
