26 Jack's eyes fluttered open. He was lying in a hospital bed with his hands folded over his chest, staring up at the ceiling. And he was bone tired. Every muscle felt like it had turned to jelly. “Whoa,” he said. “That was a head trip…” Anna and Melissa were at the foot of his bed, both standing with their backs turned as they watched the TV.
